WELCOME!

The 2010 Carolinas' Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place on Thursday, November 25. Information on sponsorship opportunities and participation in this year's parade will be posted to this website soon. Stay tuned!

The 2009 Carolinas' Thanksgiving Day Parade marched in uptown Charlotte at 10 A.M. on Thursday, November 26, 2009! In 2008, we were recognized as the fourth largest Thanksgiving Parade in the United States, and this year's parade was even larger!

Over 120 units participated in this year's parade, including -- for the first time -- a giant Turkey Balloon. Mr. Turkey had to bend way over at some spots along the parade route to avoid the power lines and traffic lights, but he made a grand debut.

Thanks to everyone who participated, and thanks to everyone who came uptown to see the parade in person and who watched it at 1pm on WBTV. The parade will be re-broadcast on WBTV from 5 to 7 AM on Christmas morning.

Our Carrousel Scholarship Awards Ceremony took place on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at the Charlotte Marriott City Center. Click on "winners" (above) to see the names of our 2009 Carrousel Scholarship Winners and the winners of our Parade Band Awards.
